June 13th meeting: Architecture

The theme of today's meeting was architecture. Sophie was our Toastmaster. Ponni gave a speech on the effects of social media, focusing on practicing her body language. She did a great job with her hand gestures and she engaged everyone by looking them in the eye. Anusree was the Table Topics Master and prepared six questions related to architecture. Militza, Ponni, Rusty, Sophie, and Anusree all provided interesting answers, while practicing impromptu speaking. The words of the day were: "mise-en-scène" and "un de ces quatre matins". Sophie evaluated Ponni's speech.
We all enjoyed a homemade roasted vegetables quiche.

Le thème de la réunion aujourd'hui était l'architecture. Sophie était notre Toastmaster. Ponni a fait un discours sur les effets des médias sociaux, en faisant attention au language du corps. Elle a très bien utiliser ses mains et elle a engagé tout le monde en les regardant dans les yeux. Anusree était notre chef Table Topics et elle a préparé six questions liées à l'architecture. Militza, Ponni, Rusty, Sophie et Anusree ont tous donné des réponses intéressantes, en s'entraînant au discours impromptu. Les mots du jour étaient "mise-en-scène" et "un de ces quatre matins". Sophie a fait l'évaluation du discours de Ponni.
On s'est régalé avec une quiche aux légumes grillés faite-maison.
