Our theme was summer reading. Rusty was our Toastmaster, Anusree was our General Evaluator, Cheryl was the Timer, Sylvia was the Ah-Counter, Ann was the Grammarian, and Nirva was the Listening Post. Laura provided the two words of the day: "embark" in English and "démarrer" in French.
Ponni gave a speech about her experiences at a concert of a famous Indian songwriter and singer; Militza evaluated Ponni's speech. Then Colette gave a speech about a painting she and her late husband bought on a trip to Mexico City many years ago; Pat gave the evaluation of Colette's speech.
Ann was the Table Topics master. Sylvia, Ponni, Anusree, Militza, Pat and Julie answered the Table Topics questions. Anusree won the Best Table Topics award!
Nous avons accueilli l'invitée Julie du Canada, qui visite les clubs Toastmasters bilingues français-anglais autour du monde.
Notre thème était les lectures d'été. Rusty était notre Toastmaster, Anusree était notre Évaluateur Général, Cheryl était la chronométreuse, Sylvia était notre Compteur d'Hésitations, Ann était notre Grammairienne et Nirva était le Poste d'Écoute.
Ponni a donné un discours sur ses experiences lors d'un concert d'un écrivain/chanteur célèbre en Inde ; Militza a évalué le discours de Ponni. Puis Colette a donné un discours sur un tableau qu'elle et son mari ont acheté à Mexico City il y a de nombreuses années ; Pat a donné l'évaluation du discours de Colette.
Ann était le Table Topics Master. Sylvia, Ponni, Anusree, Militza, Pat et Julie ont répondu les questions Table Topics. Anusree a gagné le prix du meilleur Table Topics !
