Meeting: June 10th

We welcomed guest Brahima and his daughter Zarra, originally from Ivory Coast.
Our theme was Masks. Cheryl was our Toastmaster, Ponni was our General Evaluator, Sylvia was the Timer, Temple was the Ah-Counter, Rusty was the Grammarian, and Sophie was the Listening Post. Colette provided the two words of the day: "hope" in English and "tristesse" in French.
Nirva gave a speech about the power of words and language; Militza evaluated Nirva's speech. Then Pat gave a speech about her travels to Ivory Coast; Ann gave the evaluation of Pat's speech.
Anusree was the Table Topics master. Nirva, Sophie, Brahima and Ponni answered the Table Topics questions. Brahima won the Best Table Topics award!

Nirva a donné un discours sur la puissance des mots et du language ; Militza a évalué le discours de Nirva. Puis Pat a donné un discours sur ses voyages en Côte d'Ivoire ; Ann a donné l'évaluation du discours de Pat.
Anusree était le Table Topics Master. Nirva, Sophie, Brahima, et Ponni ont répondu les questions Table Topics. Brahima a gagné le prix du meilleur Table Topics !
